Baked Rice Apple Crisp

Deliciously baked rice apple crisp would be your best choice for your perfect dessert on a Sunday afternoon, your potluck party, or even for your after dinner gala.
INGREDIENTS
2 cups cooked Payasa rice |
1 sliced apple cubes |
1 tbsp lemon juice |
1 cup brown sugar |
½ tsp cinnamon |
¼ tsp salt |
¾ cup all-purpose flour |
6 tbsp butter |
½ cup chopped nuts |
Whipped cream |
METHOD

Combine cooked Payasa rice, apple cubes, lemon juice, ½ cup brown sugar, cinnamon and salt in greased shallow baking dish.

Mix flour and remaining brown sugar in separate bowl. Add butter and nuts. Mix well till the time the mixture is crumbly.

Sprinkle flour crumble over rice-apple mixture.

Bake at 350F for 30 minutes.

Serve warm topped with whipped cream or ice cream. (Optional)
